Fiona Austin worked on this house over 20 years ago with architects Anthony Lucas and Steven Last. When the new owners called Anthony Lucas in to work on an additional part of the project, they also called on Austin Design to consult on the interior design.

The original renovation had stood the test of time well, however, to make the house function for a young family the kitchen was moved to the large rear space (added on 20 years ago) creating a new casual living area with an open kitchen, dining and living room. The original kitchen was turned into a television/craft area for the children.

A new master bedroom and ensuite in the style of the original 'contemporary Australian' renovation was also added. Most of the original renovation was retained with a change of paint colour, floors polished and new window coverings and furnishings.
