This project is about the precise carving of a residence into a land locked site.

Planning restrictions including adjoining substations and height covenants, control a low profiled street elevation. The residence has been sculptured into the site into an unexpected volume of interior space, light and privacy.

The house pivots around a central light court and sunken reflection pond, where water, sculpture, access to light and natural ventilation are core to the interior performance.

Quality materials are meticulously selected, detailed and constructed reflecting a refined contemporary luxury residence in inner city Melbourne.
