This project is a recycling of a confectionary factory into a contemporary solution to home and office living.

Assessment of life/work balance is a continuous cycle. The combination of home/office creates a hierarchy of program and design requiring precise consideration to create a mental and physical buffer that would allow the owner to ‘switch’ between zones.

The industrial and slightly raw appearance of the office space reads against the more refined solution of the residential component on the levels above it. Both spaces however are of equal sophistication where the spaces, elements and finishes are controlled in a way that offers seamless function and circulation.
