key landscape principles:

Provide an approach to hard landscape form that is consistent across the site - orthogonal for simplicity, usability and cost effectiveness.

Recycled timber for decks and furniture give a sense of warmth and durability and can be repeated throughout the STRIP, adding to the identity of the precinct.

Provide deciduous trees along the north facades for summer shade, winter sun to buildings.

Use predominantly native species, use exotic species in a defined and explicit manner.

Collection of stormwater for toilet flushing.

Use of green building materials such as recycled crushed rock and timber.
