This addition is designed as a companion to the existing Victorian House. The Victorian house has been carefully restored and the addition knitted to it. The new addition is designed around a series of courtyards which maximise light, ventilation and aspect. Timber clad eave walls and soffits are used as transitional spaces between interior and exterior. The rear facade both compliments and contrasts with the veranda facade of the existing Victorian dwelling.
