Client’s Brief: A new, modern apartment needed to be transformed to provide an ‘American look’ with strong, traditional French influence. Formality and elegance was achieved through the use of soft-toned silks, upholstery, custom designed rugs and wallpaper. Hand marbled columns were added; a custom designed wall unit was installed. Wrought iron tables were designed, each piece of furniture was designed and subsequently built. Unique, custom designed floor rugs were commissioned to match upholstery fabrics.
