Folding House is a contemporary single storey residence expressed externally as three lineal elements that fold into each other to form the interior spaces.

Located between two single storey Inter-war / Edwardian houses, the design premise aimed to mediate the adjacent properties, by expressing a strong horizontal line, keeping a low profile towards the street.

The roof, walls and windows are folded into each other so that the line between interior and exterior are seamless.
